Teen bride Courtney Stodden is set to enter the UK Celbrity Big Brother house without husband Doug Hutchison.
TV producers of the British reality show want to turn Courtney, 18, into a star in her own right - and feel 53-year-old Doug would get in the way, MailOnline can reveal.
The aspiring model and singer rose to fame in 2011 after controversially getting hitched to the Green Mile actor when she was just 16.

Courtney flew into London over the weekend in preparation for the Channel 5 show, which kicks off on Thursday.
And now she is set to unleash her brassy antics on the UK, after making her first trip outside of the U.S.
A show insider told MailOnline: 'The producers only want Courtney on the show and vetoed Doug coming in with her. She's young, hot and wild - plus they have a pool and hot tub to fill.
'This is an opportunity for her to get up in front of the world and stand on her own two perplex stilettos!'

Another source revealed that Courtney is both 'nervous and excited' about entering the House - and is delighted that, at 18, she can legally drink in the UK.
The source told MailOnline: 'As the legal drinking age is 21 in American, Courtney has never done the party scene or had the college lifestyle experience, so it will all be new to her.'
Stodden has an array of outrageous outfits at the ready too, including a series of glitzy ensembles from designer Maggie Barry who has worked with the likes of Katy Perry, Fergie, Ke$ha, and Nicki Minaj.
Other rumoured housemates includes Dustin Diamond, R&B singer Mark Morrison, Mr Motivator, Louie Spence, Charlotte Crosby, 5ive singer Abz, former football manager Ron Atkinson, Loose Women star Carol McGiffin, Outkast rapper Big Boi and Sophie Anderton.
Last year, American exports and married couple Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt from The Hills appeared on Celebrity Big Brother 2012, giving them a career boost across the pond.

Meanwhile, Courtney recently confessed that she and Doug are currently taking part in a sex therapy programme in a bid to spice up their love life - something she will now have to take a break from with a stint in the Big Brother House ahead of her.
The blonde explained to MailOnline earlier this month: 'I'm 18, Doug's 53 and I want to make love more regularly than he does, and that's why we are doing this course together.'
Doug also said he is still getting used to Courtney's enhanced bust size after she recently underwent a breast augmentation, increasing her cup size from a C to a 'very large DD,' as she puts it.
She added: 'It's something I've been researching for years, I wanted to find the best surgeon and I did. I'm really pleased with the results.'
